What personal details we gather and why we gather them

When visitors leave reactions on our website, we gather the data shown in the reaction form, the visitor’s IP-address and the browser user agent to help detect spam.
An anonymized string, based on your email address (this is called a hash) kan be sent to the Gravatar service when you use it. You can find the page on their privacy policy here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your reaction is approved, your profile picture is publicly visible in the context of your reaction.
Personal data we process
Studio Stamp processes your personal data when you use our services and/or because you give these data to us yourself. Below you will find an overview of the personal data we process:
– First and last name
– Address
– Data on your activities on our website
– Payment information
Special and/or sensitive personal data we process
Our website does not intend to gather data on website visitors under 16 years of age, unless they have permission from a parent or guardian. We however cannot control whether a visitor is older than 16. We advise parents and guardians to be involved in the online activities of their children, to help prevent their data from being gathered without parental permission. If you are convinced we gathered personal data from a minor without this permission, please contact us via info@studiostamp.nl and we will make sure to delete this information.
With what intent and on what basis we process your personal data
Studio Stamp processes your personal data for the following purposes:
– Handling your payment
– Sending out our newsletter
– To be able to email you if necessary to carry out our services
– To inform you on amendments to our services and products
– To deliver goods and services to you
We like to direct you to Article 6 of the General Regulation Data Protection (Dutch), where you can see we call on Foundations (Grondslagen) 1 and 2 to legitimise the processing of these data.
Automated decision making
Studio Stamp does not make decisions based on automated processes about affairs that can have considerable consequences for people. We are talking about decisions made by computer programs or systems without a human being (for instance a Studio Stamp employee) having part in the process.
How long we preserve personal data
Studio Stamp does not preserve your personal data any longer than is necessary to idealise the goals that the data was gathered for in the first place. We use the following preservation terms for these (categories of) personal data:
- Name, contact and address information of our customers: preserved until after the delivery of our product. We want to be sure the order does in fact get delivered fairly to the requested address and if not, want to be able to resend another copy.
- Name, contact and address information of subscribers to our newsletter: preserved until request from the concerned person to be deleted. We like to keep interested parties up to date on the development of our company and products.
- When you leave a reaction on our website, the data and metadata of this reaction will be stored forever. This way we can automatically recognize and approve follow-up reactions instead of having to moderate them. For users who register on our site (if option is present), we also store the personal data they provide in their user profile. All users are in their right to see, edit and delete their data at any time (they are however unable to edit their profile name). Site administrators can also see and edit this information.
Sharing personal data with third parties
Studio Stamp does not sell your data to third parties and will only provide them when this is necessary to carry out our agreement with you or to meet a legal obligation.
We make up a processor agreement with companies that we share your data with to ensure a similar level of security and confidentiality of your data.
Studio Stamp stays accountable for these processes.
Media
If you are a registered user and upload pictures to our site, you have to prevent uploading pictures with EXIF GPS location data. Visitors of the site could download the pictures from our site and look into the location data.
