You know he is a bad man
We cannot be resigned to this life
You have in you leaves and flowers
It all went wrong before, it won’t this time
We need to have a better plan
I cannot live on feeling guilty
Let’s do this as soon as possible
Three of the attractions shown here play a vital role in the crime you are investigating.
Next to the picture of the “Feral Lions”, somebody scribbled “Let us assemble the item and the elixir outside the lion cages”. What item and what elixir is this referring to?
To find out what item and which elixir is needed, look at the other documents and solve those puzzles first.
If you have found the correct item and elixir, take a look at the newspaper from 1913. Do you notice anything?
How can you bring the correct item and elixir together, side by side? (You’ll have to do this two times)
You’ll have to fold the newspaper horizontally and vertically to bring the items together. Take care to be precise; fold as close as you can along the marked lines.
You can find symbols for a Saw and for Laudanum on both the vertical and horizontal margins of the picture of the lion cages on the newspaper article. You have to bring both together: so fold the newspaper vertically so the two halves of the saw meet and make one complete saw; then, fold the newspaper horizontally to fit the two halves of the Laudanum icon to each other. For further clarification, look at the hints for the Newspaper article.
